About

Remote Sensing and Vegetation Analytics are my passions. My experience offer a nexus of skills between Forestry, Agroforestry, Remote Sensing and Data science fields and from conducting vegetation inventory and analytics projects for over 10 years. Transitioning into data science and ecological informatics from a natural science background, I have held data management and remote sensing scientist positions in companies ranging from Universities, International NGOs and renown Biodiversity Research & Conservation Organizations. I strive towards improving my experience and contributing to the understanding and usage of information, or the lack thereof, at the interface of Forestry/Agroforestry, Data Science and Earth Observation from Multispectral and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Imagery. I aim to contribute my experience to leverage different strategies and related policies for vegetation monitoring & management, land use sustainability, such as the new EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) Due Diligence verification and Risk Mitigation.
